Rosie Campbell LLM CIPD
HR advice is easy to find.
Professional judgement is rare.
Most HR consultancies give you a generic policy bank and an 0800 number. They tell you what the law says, but they leave you to absorb the risk of the decision.
I started Thrive. because I saw a gap in the West Midlands market for something better: senior-level HR leadership that combines deep employment law expertise with the operational common sense of someone who has actually managed the fallout.
Local enough to be there. Senior enough to get it right.
The background
Why I am different from the firms you have probably already tried
I have worked inside the big consultancy brands you probably outsource to. I know their scripts, I know their templates — and I know where they leave you carrying the exposure.
I hold an LLM in Employment Law and Practice. I do not guess what the legislation means; I understand the legal architecture behind your contracts and your disputes.
I have trained and assessed more than 7,000 CIPD professionals. I literally grade the experts. I know what good HR looks like because I am the one who defines it.
I am currently the Head of HR and Development for a large primary care federation, managing the people strategy for over 30 practices and 6 Primary Care Networks.
The moment the LLM became official. I have always believed that the best HR is grounded in deep legal understanding.
Specialised expertise
Specialised expertise in regulated environments
If you are a CQC-registered provider, an HR issue is never just an admin task. It is a risk to your governance and your rating.
I have lived experience in the trenches of primary care — from managing the friction between Agenda for Change and GP pay requests, to embedding ARRS staff into practice settings and navigating complex patient complaint fallout.
I know what inspectors look for in staff files because I have sat through the audits myself.
Based in Coleshill
I am 20 minutes from Solihull, Birmingham, and Coventry. I am not a faceless voice on a headset; I am a local partner who can be on-site when a situation becomes high-stakes.
I work especially well with healthcare practices, professional services, and manufacturing hubs — but I support any employer who needs a decision that stands up to scrutiny.
